What is Mayan Light Language?
Mayan Sacred Geometry, or Mayan Light Language, is a system of colours and geometric forms passed down through a lineage of 24 generations of curanderos and curanderas from the Mayan and Aztec traditions. Through specific combinations of colour and form, Light Language provides a means of articulating and directing intention.Light is not separate from who you are, because it is what you are. The practice of Light Language develops your ability to work consciously with intention, colour and form—to create, communicate and give shape to what you wish to manifest in your life.This is why we are here, and why this work exists.Welcome to the Institute of Light Language.

Level I
Begin your study of Mayan Light Language through the foundational colours, forms and principles. Learn to write personal 7-shape grids for people, places and things.
Level II
Extend your understanding through additional colours and forms. Learn to write 49-shape grids for focused intentions with a time horizon of up to 17 months.
Level III
Complete the curriculum through the full spectrum of advanced colours, forms and applications. Learn to compose 144-shape lifetime grids for profound personal and collective work.

The curriculum
A three-level curriculum in Mayan Light Language, progressing from foundational principles to advanced practice.
Philosophy
The curriculum is designed to build proficiency gradually. Each level expands your understanding of colours, forms and their applications, combining theoretical knowledge with practical experience.
level i
In Light Language I, you will learn the basics of Light Language, beginning with the seven foundational shapes, seven colours and two bonus metallic colours.You will learn how to emanate shapes and create 7-shape grids for people, places and objects, which can remain in place for up to 17 months.By the end of the class, you will have constructed your own personal and stationary grids for yourself and your personal space, and will be able to write grids for yourself and others.Included in the class:

level II
In Level II, you will deepen your practice of Light Language through the intermediate shapes and colours. You will learn six additional shapes—including the remaining Platonic solids—and seven new colours, expanding your working vocabulary.You will learn to write and set 49-shape goal grids for short-term intentions in areas such as health, relationships, career, wealth or another area of your choosing.You will also receive a library of 49-shape healing grids and learn their applications. These grids are intended as forms of energetic support and do not constitute medical treatment.Included in the class:

In Level III, you will work with the complete spectrum of 80 advanced shapes and 144 colours, together with bonus unknown shapes, new colours, and advanced sets and stages.You will learn to write 144-shape grids designed for broad, long-term themes such as ascension, self-love and relationships. These grids can remain in place for a lifetime—or lifetimes, according to your belief system.You will also learn the healing applications of 144-shape grids relating to cancer and chronic diseases. These applications are a form of energetic support and do not constitute medical treatment.Included in the class:

Grids
Light Language grids can be commissioned to support a particular intention, area of life or process of long-term development. Each grid is created specifically for you, using a combination of colours and shapes selected according to your intention.Commissions are available as 7-shape, 49-shape and 144-shape grids, each working at a different level of complexity and application. Each commission begins with a consultation session of approximately 30–45 minutes.
7-shape grids

Stationary grids can be created for places (such as your home, office or workspace), specific objects (such as a bed, phone, musical or creative instrument), or as an energetic base for a creative project or artwork.Please note:
A personal grid must be in place before adding a stationary grid.7-shape grids last for up to 17 months and can be changed earlier if desired.Fee: S$80 per grid / S$350 for a pack of five

49-shape grids
49-shape grids support short-term goals related to health, money, career, relationships, love, or personal empowerment.Each individual grid comes with a community grid, allowing you to set an intention for a larger community that you are part of, or that you care about.Examples of grid titles:* Tina L. increases her cash flow by 20% on or before (date).
* Jack M. experiences a 50% or more increase in his personal creative flow on or before (date).
* (community): Grieving families experience 60% or more support in their healing journeys on or before (date).Fee: S$220 (one individual grid + one community grid)

144-shape grids
144-shape grids work at greater depth, using advanced shapes and colours. They generally require more time to take effect, but can remain in place for much longer—often for a lifetime (or lifetimes, according to your belief system).They can work with deeper karmic patterns, ascension pathways and soul re-alignments, as well as fundamental areas of life such as self-love, optimal health, romantic relationships, money or career.Each individual 144-shape grid comes with a 144-shape community grid of your choice.Examples of grid titles:* Eileen T.'s Optimal Health.

Isabella Teng is a teacher and practitioner of Mayan Light Language, and founder of the Institute of Light Language.Her background as a visual artist and arts educator shapes her approach, bringing a spirit of inquiry and exploration to her work with Light Language and sacred geometry.

Art, consciousness and Light Language
My interest in metaphysics began in my late teens, but Mayan Light Language entered my life much later, while I was completing my Master of Arts in Fine Arts at LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore, where I graduated with distinction.At the time, my artistic research centred on the possibility of creating a conscious art: works that could function as koans in space, using lines, minimal interventions and spatial relationships to shift perception and, through perception, states of consciousness.I began studying Light Language secretly, alongside my formal artistic research, as a possible response to my confounding research questions. Working at the intersection where the visible meets the invisible, could energies actually be first selected or shaped at the subtle levels where creation begins? As I started using Light Language quietly in my own practice, exhibition work and public installations, I began to notice a greater precision and clarity in my working processes. My works became simpler, my instincts sharper, and the process a whole lot more fun.
TOWARDS AN ART OF THE SOUL
As a creative, my goal is simple: I wish to create a methodology for an art of the soul.This quest, however, is not mine alone. A true “art of the soul” invites us to respect the quiet whisperings of seeds planted deep within. The hidden creative dream that seems impossible. The startling reminder that we are magic. It asks us to believe. For one thing I know is true: we cannot deny the yearnings of our own human hearts.I am here because I want to believe alongside you.I want to believe that our creative dreams have been planted in our hearts for a reason. That they belong to us, as much as we belong to them. That these are urgings worth following, like yellow arrows pointing the way to a destination grander than we can imagine today.I have learnt that sometimes, when the way forward seems completely blocked in the outside world, it helps to begin the creative process in the invisible, trusting that in our stacking of intentions and energies, something is already taking form. And when the moment is right, the manifestation lands through inspired action.Yet with Light Language, the goal is not simply to “manifest”, as if outcomes were the only things of importance. It is about coming into alignment, so that we create masterfully from precision rather than force, from allowing rather than manipulation. So that our practice gains a power and grace that extends into how we move through this world.Creativity extends far beyond the making of art. It is our capacity to participate consciously in the shaping of our lives. It is towards this process — the blossoming of our individual and collective creative potential — that I offer this pathway of Mayan Light Language.
